About me
Ta-Wei Li is an Assistant Professor of Applied Chemistry at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and served as Director of the Open Education Office from 2014 to 2021. From 2017 to 2021, he led the Taiwan Open Courseware and Educational Consortium (TOCEC) as President, helping universities across Taiwan share resources and promote open education. He has received three Excellent Teaching Awards and is passionate about making learning more accessible through Open Textbooks and digital tools. In his classes, he blends chemistry, data analysis, and computational chemistry tools to make complex ideas easier for students to understand. Ta-Wei enjoys sharing his experiences at conferences, showing how open and creative teaching practices can benefit both educators and learners, and inspiring others to try new ways of teaching and learning in higher education.
