About me
MSc Tero Uusitalo is a Senior Lecturer in the Business Management Department at Laurea University of Applied Sciences. His research focuses on working life connected pedagogy, international research, development and innovation as well as the development and application of artificial intelligence in diverse professional contexts.Uusitalo has actively contributed to the development of Laurea’s working life connected and project‑oriented teaching model. He has also led several international initiatives that apply and further develop this model in higher education institutions abroad, most notably in Brazil and Paraguay through the HEIComp project. He frequently serves as an expert in global higher education collaborations.In addition to his research and pedagogical development work, Uusitalo supervises students´real-life projects that design AI solutions to support organizations in adopting artificial intelligence for various tasks. He also provides AI training for organizational staff, promoting practical, responsible, and sustainable integration of AI into everyday professional workflows.
