About me
Sabrina Davis is the Access & User Services Librarian at Texas Tech University. As the Access & User Services Librarian, she oversees the Access Services Department and ensures patrons have safe, reliable access to library resources and spaces. The Online Learning and Open Educational Resources Office also reports to her. Previously, Sabrina served as the OER Librarian at Texas Tech, where she established the OER Office. She launched two faculty funding initiatives, created an annual OER workshop series with the Teaching, Learning, and Professional Development Center, and developed institutional workflows for OER course marking. She has served as a Texas Digital Libraries OER Ambassador, chaired the inaugural TDL OER User Group, and was a Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board OER Founding Fellow. She serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for the Journal of Open Educational Resources in Higher Education, was a SPARC Open Education Leadership Fellow, and is an Open Education Group Research Fellow. Her research focuses on OER advocacy, marketing, outreach, and library leadership. She is currently a PhD student in Higher Education at Texas Tech University.
