About me
Based in Vancouver Canada I'm an independent consultant specializing in the use of open education, open science, open access, and open culture. I'm currently working with SPARC Europe on initiatives related to Connecting The Opens and the formation of a European Open Education Alliance. Historically my work has included stints as Executive Director of Open Education Global, work at Creative Commons, and helping create BCcampus. Those were key formative open roles for me over decades and I'm delighted to still be playing an active role in advancing open practices. The OEGlobal conference has always been a key annual event for me. I look forward to continuing again this year as an online participant and hope to have a chance to interact and learn with you.
