Dr. Muhammad Hassan is Associate Vice President and Chief Librarian at Kean University, where he leads the Nancy Thompson Learning Commons. A scholar-practitioner in educational leadership, his work centers on advancing equity, academic excellence, and social mobility through integrated library and learning support services.He has guided the expansion of tutoring, research support, Open Educational Resources (OER), and data-informed student success initiatives, aligning academic support infrastructure with institutional strategic priorities. Dr. Hassan’s leadership emphasizes evidence-based practice, inclusive access, and innovation in higher education.
