About me
Meredith Jacob is the director of the Program on Information Justice and Intellectual Property at American University Washington College of Law. Currently her work includes research and advocacy focused on: open educational resources, open access to federally funded research, and copyright law, specifically focusing on fair use. She also serves as the Public Lead for Creative Commons USA. Her other work has included international intellectual property and the public interest, patent pledges (including the Open COVID Pledge and the Low Carbon Patent Pledge), and prescription data privacy policy.
