About me
Maureen E. Stabio, PhD (née Estevez) is an associate professor in the Department of Cell & Developmental Biology and Executive Director of the Modern Human Anatomy (MHA) Program at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. She directs neurosciences courses in both the medical and graduate schools, and she conducts research on MRI based tools for 3D visualization of the brain, including 3D printing and extended reality. With a team of students and staff in the MHA Program, she founded the University of Colorado Plastinated Organ Library and built the Colorado OER Anatomy Hub.
