About me
Maura Flynn is the Open Educational Resources (OER) Librarian at the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS), where she leads the development and promotion of open publishing and open education initiatives across the institution. She is the founder of TUS Open Press, the university's Pressbooks-based publishing platform, which supports staff and students in creating and sharing openly licensed scholarly works, including academic books, research outputs, and teaching materials. Maura has played a central role in building TUS's OER infrastructure, from developing OER indexes and library guides to securing funding and delivering staff training. She is an active contributor to the wider open education community in Ireland and beyond, and has presented her work at national and international conferences.
