About me
Laura Henderson is an academic publishing professional with 20 years’ experience across respected international presses. Now part of the Frontiers Research Foundation, she strategically directs the unique science-engagement project, Frontiers for Young Minds (FYM). Passionate about science communication, she is an invited speaker at many academic and education conferences. For FYM, she has driven multiple award wins – proudly including the OEG Significant Impact OER Award for Excellence in 2024 – as well as giving talks in 10+ countries and leading many live events. An active advocate for open education generally, Laura has interviewed for The Times, BBC Radio 5, and The Washington Post, and guest-blogged on the World Economic Forum Agenda and the EU Science-Media Hub.
