About me
Ken-Zen Chen serves as an Associate Professor at the Institute of Education, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan. His scholarly work focuses on digital learning ecosystems, institutional collaboration, and the practical application of Open Educational Resources (OER). As a primary architect behind "ewant," Taiwan’s leading MOOC platform, he and his colleagues have pioneered the UHCOOL initiative—a strategic framework designed to bridge the educational resource divide between higher education and K-12 sectors. Dr. Chen’s work emphasizes the creation of sustainable, cross-institutional governance models that empower educators through technology. He is dedicated to advancing educational equity by transforming university-level intellectual capital into adaptable, open-access learning modules for students in diverse and underserved geographic regions.
