About me
Jiabao Wen is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Teaching and Learning at Southern Methodist University. His research focuses on generative AI in K–12 mathematics education, with particular attention to multimodal AI, visual representations, and the design of AI-supported learning environments. His work also examines how teachers and students engage with AI-generated instructional materials, including visuals for mathematics word problems and open educational resources.
