About me
PhD in Informatics in Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS, Brazil), with a Master’s degree in Technology and Society from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR, Brazil), and postgraduate specializations in Educational Technology and Virtual Learning Environments. Currently works as a lecturer and researcher at the Technological University of Uruguay (UTEC), where she is a member of the Educational Technology Research Group (ITEd), and collaborates with international research networks and projects such as NUTED (UFRGS, Brazil) and CIEDA (UdelaR, Uruguay). Her research focuses on educational technology, teachers’ digital competencies, hybrid education, open education, and the pedagogical use of artificial intelligence in teacher education. She has published peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and conference papers, and has participated in international academic events as a presenter, chair, reviewer, and organizer. She is also engaged in postgraduate teaching and thesis supervision at UTEC and University CLAEH, and contributes to the design of graduate programs in educational technology and artificial intelligence.
