About me
With a background in K-12 education and STEM professional development, Emily became interested in OER for the opportunities it affords to invite students into the knowledge creation process. After completing a PhD at West Virginia University examining how professional learning can support teachers who want to use OER to engage student identity in the curriculum, Emily now works for PALNI, a library consortium in Indiana, US, as the Affordable Learning Program Manager where she manages the PALSave grant program to incentivize faculty OER creation and use.
