About me
Eric Keunne is a PhD candidate in French Studies at York University whose research examines the professional integration of internationally trained teachers in Ontario’s French-language and French immersion school systems. His work focuses particularly on educators trained in Cameroon and explores issues of knowledge circulation, language policy, and equity in education.He is currently the principal in Ontario, Canada and has worked in education across multiple contexts including Cameroon, Europe, and Canada. His scholarship examines how globally mobile educators contribute to the circulation of pedagogical knowledge between the Global South and Global North.His research interests include open knowledge ecosystems, bilingual education policy, internationally trained teachers, and epistemic equity in education systems. He is also founder and editor of Les Éditions du Schabel Canada, a publishing initiative supporting francophone and diasporic scholarship.
