About me
Christine Rickabaugh is a former early childhood educator who traded crayons and glitter for Pressbooks and Creative Commons licenses — and hasn't looked back. Now the Open Education Librarian at the University of Arkansas Libraries, she leads the university's OER program, chairs the Copyright Committee, and supports faculty in adopting, adapting, and creating open educational resources. Her work sits at the intersection of copyright literacy, open licensing, accessibility, and faculty professional development. She also leads planning for Open Arkansas 2026, a regional open education conference. Christine holds an MLIS and is completing her Doctorate of Education.
