About me
Celine Peignen is the Deputy Librarian and Open Education Librarian at the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS), where she has worked in the library sector for over 15 years. She has been a driving force behind TUS's open education strategy, securing funding from the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education to develop OER initiatives and resources across the institution. Celine is an active contributor to open education at both national and international levels, including her involvement with the European Network of Open Education Librarians. She currently serves as Chair of the Western Regional Section of the Library Association of Ireland (WRSLAI), and has co-authored openly licensed publications on OER practice in Irish higher education. Celine is a graduate of Robert Gordon University.
