About me
Cameron King is a designer, educator, and advocate for collaborative creative communities. His practice sits at the intersection of visual communication, design leadership, and creative culture. As VP of Creative at CASE, he partners with global brands, including e.l.f. Beauty, Disney, Pepsi, Herman Miller, and Shiseido, to develop strategy-driven design solutions, while fostering the kind of collaborative environments where creative work can thrive. His early career included directing photoshoots and contributing to the design of Martha Stewart Living magazine, earning recognition from the Society of Publication Designers.Twenty years into his professional practice, Cameron returned to graduate study to pursue an MFA in Graphic Design at Vermont College of Fine Arts, where his research examines how designers can reclaim creative agency within optimization-driven systems. This tension between institutional constraint and creative autonomy informs both his scholarly inquiry and his day-to-day leadership.Cameron has served on the AIGA NY Board of Directors, where he helped champion emerging talent and co-organized the Advanced Career Expansion Program. He holds a BFA in Graphic Design, and grew up around design—the son of a creative director, now raising three teenage artists of his own.He finds his best thinking happens on long runs through Central Park.
