About me
Anne-Catherine Baseilhac, Open Education Chief Operating Officer at Nantes University, France. Graduated from the Lyon School of Management, Anne-Catherine has held several project management positions, both nationally and internationally in companies, where she gained expertise in driving innovation within organizations. She then focused on education, addressing the challenges of transforming educational practices and teaching by becoming the development director at a think tank specializing in education and youth in Paris. She subsequently led the deployment of nonprofit structures dedicated to youth and equal opportunities to promote social inclusion within educational systems. She joined Nantes University in 2024 as Open Education COO to oversee the implementation of open education, particularly through the creation of the OER factory, (cross-functional team of 6 persons) which embodies Nantes University’s strategy for disseminating these new teaching and learning practices.
