About me
Andrea Scott is Director of Open Educational Resources in the Office of Learning Advancement and Co‑Chair of the Open SLCC Advisory Committee at Salt Lake Community College. Active in Open Education since 2013, she helped establish Open SLCC and now oversees program development, assessment, and institutional growth while building partnerships to expand access to high-quality, affordable learning materials. Andrea has served on several national boards and committees and is currently President of the Community College Consortium for Open Educational Resources (CCCOER) Executive Council, supporting a community of practice for Open Education for hundreds of colleges across the United States and Canada. Her work is motivated by a commitment to creating innovative pathways that improve student access, success, and college experience.
