About me
Andrew Lih has a long history in the Wikimedia movement and was the 2022 Wikimedia Laureate. He was among the first to use Wikipedia in the classroom at the university level, at the University of Hong Kong in 2003. Since then, he has been a champion of partnerships with universities and GLAM institutions, and has been a Wikimedian in Residence (or the equivalent) with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian Institution, and now MIT Open Learning. He is the author of The Wikipedia Revolution: How a Bunch of Nobodies Created the World's Greatest Encyclopedia.
