About me
Alyssa Nguyen is the Senior Director of Research and Innovation for The RP Group and brings over 15 years of experience in the California Community Colleges. Her work is dedicated to uncovering and implementing student-centered practices that close equity gaps and promote student success. She has contributed to multiple system-wide initiatives, including projects that have advanced equitable student placement practices and identified the critical factors that support student transfer to a four-year university.Alyssa is a California Community College graduate, earning an AA in liberal studies at College of the Redwoods. She then earned a BA and MA in psychology at Humboldt State University. Alyssa earned her PhD from the University of California, Davis, in the School of Education, School Organization and Education Policy program.
