He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics and two master’s degrees in physics and computer science. Thomas specializes in developing interactive tools that enhance conceptual understanding in physics education. He is the creator of 3JCN Physics Simulation, a free online platform featuring over 330 interactive 3D physics simulations and animations used by students and educators worldwide. His work focuses on making abstract physical concepts visually intuitive through modern web technologies such as Three.js, helping bridge the gap between theory and real-world understanding.Thomas has taught a wide range of courses including introductory and calculus-based physics, as well as laboratory classes at the community college level. He is passionate about open educational resources (OER) and committed to expanding access to high-quality physics education globally. His current work continues to expand the capabilities of 3JCN simulations, integrating research-based teaching methods, immersive visualization techniques, and embedding interactive simulations into physics textbooks to enhance conceptual understanding and support open educational practices.
